We are delighted to announce that His Eminence Jhado Rinpoche has agreed to bestow a Guhyasamaja initiation in Switzerland from November 13 to 15.
His Eminence Jhado Rinpoche is one of the greatest living masters of the Gelug tradition and is renowned for his keen intellect and knowledge, his ability to teach Western students, as well as his humility and boundless kindness.

LANGUAGE: Tibetan, followed by an English translation. Simultaneous translation into German and French via wireless devices.
LEVEL: For those who have taken Buddhist refuge and Pratimoksha vows (at least one of the five lay precepts), are thoroughly familiar with Lamrim topics, and aspire to the highest Mahayana goal in their practice.

Guhyasamāja
Guhya means "secret" or "naturally hidden" (because the profound meanings are difficult for the uninitiated to access)
Samaja means "gathering" or "assembly" (as a union of all essential Sutra and Tantra teachings); it is considered one of the most profound and important tantric systems of the Gelug tradition. This practice offers a complete path of transformation, combining profound methods for working with the mind, subtle energies, and the stages of the path to enlightenment.
This rare Initiation offers participants the opportunity to enter the Guhyasamāja tantric mandala and to receive the blessings, commitments, and instructions associated with the practice.
Prerequisites for participation in this Initiation include firm confidence in and interest in the Mahayana path, as well as confidence in Vajrayana practice, based on a solid understanding of Lamrim and a foundation in the Three Principal Aspects of the Path.

Friday, the preparatory teachings are open to everyone and will be broadcast via Zoom and livestream.
Saturday and Sunday are intended for those receiving the Initiation and ...are prepared to accept the commitments. Participation is only possible in person.
By receiving a Highest Yoga Tantra initiation, one assumes the responsibility of upholding the standard commitments associated with refuge, the Bodhisattva vows, and the tantric vows, as well as performing the daily "Six-Session Guru Yoga Sadhana" practice—and potentially other daily practices.
Accommodation and meals are not included.
Tea and cake will be served in the afternoon.

Kyabje Jhado Rinpoche
Kyabje Jhado Rinpoche is widely regarded as one of the great living masters of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. He was born near Lake Namtso in Tibet and recognized as the reincarnation of the abbot of Jhado Monastery. Rinpoche completed his rigorous studies at Sera Je Monastery with the highest academic degree, the Geshe Lharampa, and continued his studies at the Gyuto Tantric College. Later, he served as abbot of Namgyal Monastery, the personal monastery of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and received extensive transmissions and initiations from His Holiness as well as from many of Tibet’s most revered lineage holders. Known for his profound scholarship, meditative realization, and extraordinary kindness, Jhado Rinpoche embodies the qualities of wisdom and compassion that distinguish a true master of our time.
