We have an extensive collection of media (books, recordings, videos, photographs) to Buddhist themes. We also have recordings of most Teachings, which have taken place at our center. All media can be borrowed, the copies of he teachings can be borrowed or purchased. The audios that are recorded on minidisk (MD) or cassette tapes (MC), are now available in digital form as MP3 files and can be copied from us for a voluntary donation to a USB flash drive, or burned to a CD.If you want to buy or borrow something, please contact one of our librarians.

With the Search function you can search for authors or titles. However the search is not performed in the content of the media.

The list of media can be sorted by to every column. For this you have to click in the appropriate column-header of the table. Each time you click, the sort order changes for upwards rsp. downwards sort.

Scheme of Numbering

The media are categorized as follows:

Books

The books are divided into different categories, which are designated by colors. The numbering starts within a color category all over again. To designate a book clearly, you have to give color and number, e.g. Green 3, Red 5, ...

The meaning of the color categories:

redDalai Lama (all languages)
greenEnglish books
blueGerman books
yellowLama Yeshe/Lama Zopa (all languages)
whitepicture books (all languages)

Other media (Audios, Videos, Photos)

The category Audio includes Music-Cassettes, Mini-Discs, Audio CDs or MP3 CDs.

The category Video includes VHS-Cassettes and DVDs.

All media except the books are provided with a multi-digit number, separated by dots, each of which has a meaning. This at first glance complicated numbering ensures a unique identification of the media and conforms to the international ISO standard for unambiguous identification of objects.
