Lamrim can be translated as “step to the path to enlightenment” and is a summary of the entire 84,000 teachings of the Buddha. It is arranged in such a way that it can guide an individual progressively on the path to Buddhahood. It is said that studying a single verse from the Lamrim has the same positive potential as studying the entire teachings of the Buddha.
The Lamrim tradition goes back to the Indian master Atisha Tipamkara, who wrote the text “The Lamp on the Path to Enlightenment”. This work is considered the foundation text for the Lamrim writings of the great scholar and founder of the Gelug school, Tsong Khapa.
The medium-length version, also called medium Lamrim, is considered one of Tsong Khapa's most important works and was written by him towards the end of his life.
Geshe Tenzin Zopa will give the narration of the middle Lamrim.
Text excerpt, written by H.H.Dalai Lama (foreword of the book “STEPS ON THE PATH TO ENLIGHTENMENT” Commentary of the Lamrim, written by GESHE LHUNDUB SOPA)
"The Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (Lamrim) is a commentary on the "Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment" by Atiśa.
The main goal of these teachings is the transformation of the mind. The Buddha and the great teachers who followed the Buddha gave clear instructions on how to move from a state of suffering to a state of peace and happiness. Following these teachings of the great masters of the past, Atiśa summarized them in his famous text "The Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment". It is a wonderful text and it was then passed down through the Kadam lineages and eventually made its way to Tsongkhapa. We are fortunate to still have access to such a great work after so long and to be able to read and reflect on its contents.”

Re-opening of a Lamrim meditation group
The real goal of imparting the Lamrim is to train our minds. This is achieved not only by listening, but also by thinking and meditating. Building on the teachings have started a Lamrim meditation group. As a group we reflect, discuss and meditate on what has been taught. In addition to the explanations of Geshe-la, various commentaries on the Lamrim, as well as meditations/comments from the FPMT online program “Living the path” serve as a basis.
Participation is open to everyone. A regular visit is of great benefit as our minds only change gradually through continuous training. However, it is also possible to take part in individual meetings.
