“Merit accumulated over a thousand ages from good deeds, such as acts of generosity and offerings to the enlightened ones, is destroyed in a single moment of anger.” Shantideva

It is of utmost importance to understand and practice the drawbacks of anger and hatred, and the great benefits of patience. Based on the text “Guidelines on the Path to Bliss – Bodhicaryavatara,” Geshe Sherab will give us a teaching on this subject. Every teaching on patience inspires and helps us progress.

“No anger within me means no enemy without.” Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche

The Bodhicaryavatara is one of the most important texts in Tibetan Buddhism.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama writes about this text:

“The Bodhicharyavatara has been widely appreciated and revered for more than a thousand years.” It is studied and praised by all four schools of Tibetan Buddhism. I myself received the transmission and explanation of this important, sacred text from the late Kunu Lama Tenzin Gyaltsen, who in turn had received it from a disciple of the great Dzogchen master Dza Patrul Rinpoche. It has proven to be very useful and beneficial to my mind.
